Entry Requirements into UPSA Masters and PhD Programmes 2024
For an applicant to gain admission into UPSA to read Master’s and PhD programmes, he or she must satisfy the entry requirements for admission into the various postgraduate programmes.

1. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from recognized accredited institution in relevant programme area or field of study.
2. Applicants must possess Second Class Lower Division or Better.
3. Applicants with third class will undergo screening and interview selection to enable them to ascertain their suitability for admission.
4. Again, Required qualifications include recognized professional certifications like ICAG, ACCA, CIMA, CIM, CPA, ICSA, and CIB.
5. International applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in related fields recognized by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC). Proficiency in English Language must be demonstrated by applicants from non-English speaking countries.

How to Apply for Postgraduate Admission at UPSA 2024
Below are the steps to follow to apply for admission.
1. Applicants should first purchase the online admission form.
2. All applications must be submitted on-line at https://www.upsasip.com/adm-area upon purchase of UPSA ON-LINE SERIAL NUMBER (OSN) and completion of the on-line application for admission forms.
3. All applicants are to also note that a change of programme after the submission of the application will not be possible.
Various Ongoing Sessions of Admission at UPSA
(i) Undergraduate Programmes- Regular Session is available for Level 100 applicants only,
(ii) Undergraduate Programmes-Evening & Weekend Sessions are available for Level 100, Level 200 and Level 300 applicants
(iii) Diploma Programmes-All sessions are available.
UPSA Awaiting Admission for WASSCE Candidates
Applicants for Level 100 Undergradute and Diploma programmes, who will be writing WASSCE/GBCE/ABCE in July/August 2024 are also eligible to apply. Such applicants are required to indicate their WASSCE/GBCE/ABCE index numbers and subjects on the on-line application forms.
NOTE : All UPSA graduates including those who will graduate in August 2024 should indicate their STUDENT ID NUMBER on the on-line application forms.

The deadline for Masters Regular and Distance Learning is on Friday, 23rd August, 2024.
The deadline for PhD is on Friday, 31st May, 2024.
The deadline for Mature Applicants is on Friday, 28th June, 2024.
The deadline is for Post First Degree LLB Applicants is on Friday, 3rd May, 2024.
The deadline for Undergraduate Top-up I on Friday, 23rd August, 2024.
