Following the release of the 2024 West African Senior High School Certificate Examination Results, the Admissions Office,
UEW wishes to inform all those who applied to the University of Education, Winneba as awaiting results applicants to kindly visit
their application portals and upload/update their records.
Steps to Upload WASSCE Results and Other Files on UEW Admission Portal
1. Visit the UEW Portal at To upload your files at https://helpdesk.uew.edu.gh/admissions/uploadDocument
2. Upload the files by ensuring that the files are well named.
3. Click on “CHOOSE FILES” and do well to locate the file on your electronic gadget and upload into the system.
4. Do same for the other files. Note: it must be done one file after the other.
5. Click on “PREVIEW” to view the attached documents.
6. Click on “SUBMIT” to have the files submitted to the University.
7. A copy of the candidate’s result slip and identity card in a pdf format can also be forwarded to admissionuploads@uew.edu.gh
with your nine-digit temporal student number starting with 230………..as the pre-fix.
Note that WASSCE graduates who are yet to purchase application forms can please do so and apply by visiting UEW University of Education, Winneba Portal to complete
application forms.

From the management of UEW, the minimum admission requirements for applicants applying for admission into the University of Education, Winneba as as follows.
1. Direct Applicant
WASSCE and SSSCE Certificate Holders.
A. For WASSCE certificate holders, applicants should have passes in at least six (6) passes (A1-C6) including three Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies) and any other three relevant Elective Subjects not exceeding aggregate 36 in total.
B. SSSCE Certificate Holders, applicants are to have at least credit passes (A-D) including three Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies) and any other three relevant Elective Subjects not exceeding aggregate 24 in total.
