UCC 2025 Masters Programmes (Sandwich)
1. Masters of Education Mathematics
Requirements : Holders of B.Ed. (Mathematics) Or B.Ed. (Basic Education) Mathematics option with a second class lower or better from a recognized University.
2. MPHIL (Mathematics Education) Top- Up Programme
Requirements: A CGPA of 2.5 or better in the Master of Education (M.Ed.) Course work.
Should have obtained not more than one grade “C” in the Master of Education (M.Ed.) Course work.
Should have obtained a “B” score or better in the Master of Education (M.Ed.) Research Methods course.
3. Master of Education (ICT)
Requirements : Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.COM./BMS etc.), with at least Second Class (Honours) and Diploma in Education.
Target Group : Opened to teachers at all levels of education, as well as other suitably qualified professionals working in the area of education and training-
4. MPHIL (ICT Education) Top – Up Program
Requirements: Holders of M.Ed. ICT or M.Ed. IT for a top up to MPhil ICT Education.
A CGPA of 2.5 or better in the Master of Education (M.Ed.) Course work.
Should have obtained not more than one grade “C” in the Master of Education (M.Ed.) Course work.
Should have obtained a “B” score or better in the Master of Education (M.Ed.) Research Methods coucourse.

The cost of e-vouchers for the 2025 UCC Master’s Sandwich Programmes is set at GH₵ 320.00.
This fee is payable in cash only and is non-refundable.

Mode of Payment
All payments must be made in cash at the designated sales centers or partner bank branches.
Applicants are advised to keep a copy of their receipt as proof of payment and for future reference during the application process.

20th June 2025 is the official deadline for submission of applications. Applicants are therefore advised to submit their applications before the deadline date stated.
Can Third Class Degree Holders do Masters in UCC?
Yes, holders of a third-class degree can apply for a Master’s program at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), but they will likely need to undergo an interview and may need to demonstrate additional qualifications
