The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education-Ghana (PRINCOF), has announced a revised reopening date for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.
From the management of PRINCOF, all students especially newly admitted students, the new date for reopening for colleges of education is now set for Monday, January 27, 2025.
The change to the new academic calendar was made during a recent PRINCOF general meeting held in Sogakope on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
According to a statement issued by PRINCOF to staff, students, and stakeholders, it stated that the adjustment is due to unforeseen circumstances that require urgent attention.
“We understand that this change may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption it may cause,” part of the statement read.
“Please be assured that we are committed to ensuring a smooth start of the academic year and are working diligently with the relevant authorities to address these issues effectively.”
PRINCOF emphasised its commitment to resolving the challenges promptly and urged staff, students, and stakeholders to cooperate during this transitional period.
