Ghana Education Service (GES) has launched its innovative self-posting module for successful applicants from Public Colleges of Education, marking a significant milestone in teacher recruitment in Ghana.

In a move to enhance efficiency and transparency in teacher deployment, GES has introduced a self-posting module for the first batch of 2022 degree holders from Public Colleges of Education. This initiative will allows graduates to select their preferred Region, District, and School for their posting.

The self-posting portal is now live and accessible to eligible applicants. According to GES management, the portal is designed to facilitate a smooth posting process for qualified candidates.
GES Recruitment Portal – Procedure to Access Appointment Letters
All qualified applicants are required to follow these steps to access their appointment letters:
1. Visit the Portal at gespromotions.gov.gh.
2. Enter your College Index Number for verification of identity.
3. By Providing your contact details, input your phone number and NTC number accurately for validation.
4. Upon completion, a One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your provided phone number.
5. Input the OTP on the portal to proceed.
6. Choose your preferred Region, District, and School carefully.
7. Save and print out your Appointment Letter for reference.
GES Recruitment Portal, Verification of Appointment Letters
Applicants should note that, each Appointment Letter issued will include a QR Code to ensure authenticity. Applicants can use a smartphone to scan the QR code and verify the legitimacy of their letters, thus preventing the circulation of fake appointment documents.
NOTE : Upon receiving the Appointment Letter, successful candidates must proceed to their respective Regional Education Directorates.

The following documents listed below would be required for fulfillment of the upcoming GES postings 2024. This report seeks to entreat interested people to make all the documents ready to prevent any inconveniences.
1. Birth Certificate
2. Senior High Certificate (WASSCE)
3. SSNIT Number/TIN / Ghana Card
4. NTC Certificate among others.
5. College/University Certificate (Degree)
