Below are the steps for AAMUSTED Online Application Process. Applicants are required to follow the procedure below.

1. First an applicant has to obtain and admission e-voucher from one of the places listed above.

2. Visit the University’s website https://application.usted.edu.gh/

3. Check on admission

4. Select Apply Online

5. Login using the PIN and E-voucher on the admission e-voucher.

6. Complete the Online Application Form

7. Click on Submit after filling the online application form.

AAMUSTED Admission Requirements 2026/2027

Here are the requirements for admission 2026/2027 are as follows;

1. Direct Applicant
WASSCE and SSSCE Certificate applicants.

A. For WASSCE certificate holders, applicants should have passes in at least six (6) passes (A1-C6) including three Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies) and any other three relevant Elective Subjects not exceeding aggregate 36 in total.

B. SSSCE Certificate Holders : Applicants are to have at least credit passes (A-D) including three Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies) and any other three relevant Elective Subjects not exceeding aggregate 24 in total.

C. School Certificate/GCE Holders
GCE ‘A’ Level should have passes in two relevant subjects plus five (5) credits at GCE ‘O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics.

Applicants with GCE results which are more than five years are advised to apply as mature applicants.

D. TVET Applicants

One of the following qualifications: Automotive Technology; Motor Vehicle Technician III (MVT III), Mechanical Technology; Mechanical Engineering Technician III (MET III), Construction Technology; Construction Technician Certificate III and Electricals/Electronics Technology; Electrical Technician Engineering.

POST-DIPLOMA APPLICANTS (Diploma Holders)

They must possess a Higher National Diploma or its equivalence in a relevant field of study from a recognised institution. (Successful Post-Diploma applicants may be placed at Level 200 or 300 of the four-year degree programme depending on their academic qualifications)

Applicant should possess:

A researched Master’s Degree in the relevant field of study from an accredited institution.

A cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above in the courses offered at the Master’s degree level.

At least grade ‘B’ in the dessertation presented for the Master’s degree.

AAMUSTED Postgraduate Entry Requirements

A good first degree (2nd Class Lower or better in the relevant discipline from a recognised University.

A Pass in a selection interview and/or entrance examination to be organized by the Department.

Does AAMUSTED Accept D7?

AAMUSTED do not accept aggregate D7 for admission. The minimum admission requirements for both WASSCE and SSSCE is aggregate from A1-C6 and A-D respectively.
