About the Recruitment of Ghanaian Registered Nurses to Barbados

The Ministry of Health wishes to inform the General Public that, the anomaly on the portal for the recruitment of Ghanaian Nurses to Barbados has been rectified. Applicants can now access the portal and apply.

Application Commencement 

From the management of health ministry, the application commences on Thursday 15th August, 2024 at 2:00pm.

Mode of Application 

1. Prospective applicants are requested to formally access the form on hr.moh.gov.gh

2. Click on Barbados application to follow the instructions to apply.

Important Notice 

1. The public is kindly informed that, the Ministry of Health does not have an alternative application portal and middlemen with regards to the recruitment of the Nurses’ to Barbados.

2. Any suspicious activity should be reported to the Chief Director of the Ministry.

Application Deadline

The deadline for the application is Thursday, 22nd August, 2024.

Interview for Shortlisted Applicants 

Applicants should note that, shortlisted candidates will be required to go for an interview.  Time for interview will be communicated to all successful applicants who qualify to the next stage of selection.

Required Documents for Interview

Below are the list of required documents needed to be submitted for interview.

  1. Curriculum vitae
  2. Three (3) copies of nursing
    qualifications with original certificates
  3. Proof of Registration with the Nursing
    and Midwifery Council of Ghana
  4. An original Police Report (dated within
    the last six month)
  5. Two (2) reference letters dated not less
    than six (6) months
  6. Possession of current Basic Life
    Support Certificate
  7. One certified passport size photograph.
  8. One original and one photocopy of Birth Certificate
  9. Where applicable evidence of change of name
  10. Nurses with Critical Care experience
    should possess Advance Life Support
    Certificate.
