UCC Admission Requirements 2024/2025
From the management of UCC, the minimum admission requirements for applicants applying for UCC undergraduate admission 2024/2025 are as follows.
1. Direct Applicant
WASSCE and SSSCE Certificate Holders.
A. For WASSCE certificate holders, applicants should have passes in at least six (6) passes (A1-C6) including three Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies) and any other three relevant Elective Subjects not exceeding aggregate 36 in total.
B. SSSCE Certificate Holders, applicants are to have at least credit passes (A-D) including three Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies) and any other three relevant Elective Subjects not exceeding aggregate 24 in total.
C. School Certificate/GCE Holders
GCE ‘A’ Level should have passes in two relevant subjects plus five (5) credits at GCE ‘O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics.
Applicants with GCE results which are more than five years are advised to apply as mature applicants.
2. UCC Mature Applicants Requirements 2024
1. An applicants who applied as Mature applicant must be 25 years by 1st August 2024.
2. Must have the minimum requirement for selection.
3. Must pass the UCC entrance exams in both Subjects Area Test (SAT) and General Aptitude Test (GAT) .
3. Post- Diploma Applicants Requirements
1. Applicants must have a Higher National Diploma in relevant field of study from a recognized institution.
2. Post Diploma applicants may be placed at level 200 of the four year degree program depending on their course background.

Does UCC Accept Grade D7 ?
UCC does not accept grade D7 for admission. Applicants with WASSCE certificate are require to apply with aggregate from A1-C6 in six subjects and applicants with SSSCE certificate are also required to apply with aggregate from A-D.
When Will UCC Release 2024 Admission List?
The management of the university of Cape Coast UCC will release the 2024 admission list from the month of September 2024. The admission list will only contain names of applicants who met UCC admission requirement. Also applicants are to note that the admission list will be release in batches hence applicants are to keep checking their names from time to time.
