Qualifications for Non- Teaching Staff
A. COLLEGE PRINCIPAL POSITION
1. An applicant must be a distinguished scholar and a master teacher;
2. Possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
3. Hold a rank not below that of Associate Professor in a College of Education, university or comparable institution.
4. Have at least ten (10) years of progressive teaching and/or research experience, including a minimum of five (5) years in a senior management or leadership position.
5. Demonstrate proven leadership and managerial competence with a track record of institutional development.
6. Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
7. Demonstrate the ability to formulate and implement strategic plans and policies.
8. Have the capacity to inspire confidence, motivate staff and foster teamwork.
9. Exhibit high moral character, integrity, fairness and impartiality in decision-making.
10. Possess in-depth knowledge of Ghana’s higher education system, educational reforms and national development priorities.
11. Demonstrate commitment to the Christian values and faith-based identity of the College.
B. COLLEGE VICE PRINCIPAL POSITION
1. Be a distinguished scholar and a master teacher.
2. Possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant area of specialisation.
3. Hold a rank not below that of Professor or Senior Lecturer in a College of Education or a comparable tertiary institution.
4. Have at least ten (10) years of progressive experience in teaching and/or research, including a minimum of five (5) years in a senior management or leadership position.
5. Demonstrate proven leadership and managerial capabilities, with the ability to work effectively in teams.
6. Exhibit high moral character and commitment to the values of integrity, service and excellence.
7. Inspire confidence and provide effective leadership, direction and motivation to staff and other stakeholders.
8. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to manage and resolve crises effectively;
9. Demonstrate sound judgment, fairness and impartiality in decision-making.
10. Have proven ability to lead teams and manage institutional resources efficiently and effectively.
11. Possess in-depth knowledge of the higher education landscape and Ghana’s educational policies, priorities and development goals.

Teaching Staff Qualifications and EExperience
1. An applicant must possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the relevant discipline from a recognised institution.
However, applicants with an MPhil degree and who are on a PhD programme in the relevant discipline from a recognised institution are also encouraged to apply.
2. Hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree and postgraduate qualifications in the respective field of specialisation.
3. Demonstrate sound knowledge and competence in their subject areas.
4. Possess teaching experience in a tertiary institution, which will be an added advantage.
5. Show evidence of research capability and scholarly potential.
6. Possess good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
7. Be of high moral character and integrity, with a commitment to the Christian ethos of the College.
