Teaching Vacancies
The College is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill lecturer positions in the following subject areas:
- Education (Guidance & Counselling)
- Asante Twi
- English
- Geography
Qualification
1. Applicants for these academic positions should possess a PhD in the relevant field from a recognized institution.
2. They must also have at least two years of teaching experience at a College of Education, university, or a similar tertiary institution.
3. Candidates whose highest academic qualification is not in Education must additionally possess a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
4. The College has also indicated that applicants who are currently pursuing a PhD may still be considered, making this an attractive opportunity for emerging academics with strong teaching potential.
Non-Teaching Vacancies
SDA College of Education is equally recruiting qualified professionals for several administrative and support roles.
1. Senior Administrative Assistant
The Senior Administrative Assistant position requires applicants to hold a First Degree with relevant work experience, alongside excellent ICT proficiency and strong communication skills.
2. Senior Estate Management Assistant
For Senior Estate Management Assistant role, candidates should possess a First Degree in Estate Management or a related discipline with at least two years of relevant professional experience.
3. Senior Porter
Applicants interested in the Senior Porter position must hold a First Degree and demonstrate relevant experience. Previous work involving accommodation management or security support will be considered an added advantage.
4. Driver II
The Driver II position requires a valid Driver’s Licence D. Although BECE or WASSCE qualifications are considered an added advantage, applicants must demonstrate sound mechanical knowledge and practical driving experience.
