The Ministry of Health (MOH) has officially announced new recruitment for health professionals.
After recruiting 7,000 nurses and midwives in the past recruitment exercise, the Ministry of Health has officially announced the recruitment of Medical Officers and Dental Officers belonging to the 36th batch who have successfully completed their House Job and have been verified by the Medical and Dental Council.
The announcement, dated 2nd July 2026, provides important details regarding the application process, deadlines, and available vacancies across the country’s healthcare institutions.
According to the Ministry, the recruitment exercise is aimed at strengthening Ghana’s healthcare workforce by deploying qualified professionals to various health facilities across the country.
This initiative forms part of the government’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery and ensuring adequate staffing within public health institutions.
The recruitment process will officially commence on Wednesday, 8th July 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Eligible applicants are required to submit their applications through the Ministry of Health’s online recruitment portal at https://mohrecruitment.com.
Applicants must carefully follow the instructions provided on the portal and select their preferred districts for posting.
The Ministry has indicated that the available vacancies are currently under the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG), Ahmadiyya Health Service, and the Mental Health Authority.
These institutions play a critical role in healthcare delivery nationwide and offer newly recruited officers opportunities to contribute significantly to patient care and public health services.
Prospective applicants should note that the deadline for submission of applications is Wednesday, 15th July 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
The Ministry advises all eligible candidates to complete their applications before the closing date to avoid missing the opportunity.
